The body of beliefs shared by stoics proposes that life and the meaning to life is in the day-to-day choices we habitually make.

Choices like:
- how we choose to see things
- what we choose to do
- who we choose to be, can help set us on the path to a more meaningful, peaceful and free life.
We are not limited by our circumstances nor are we held down by them. Our outward interactions are a reflection of our inward perceptions.
In the end, it takes a relatively easy, yet greatly conscious effort to help ourselves out of a predicament we may, after all, have only created ourselves.
